Summer loving had me a blast!!!!

I love this hot weather , everyone out there looking so bright and cheery, really gives me the feel good factor!

So, let's hear it for the girls and let's get that summer look together in the bedroom with Babyface.

Get The British Look!

The High Street has Great Britain written all over it at the moment. The London look is in and looking good! Babyface is on hand, with plenty of red, white and blue and offering some Summer 2012 must haves.

You can go all retro with our target rug and target cushion or stay on the Vintage side with our McKenzie range. Either way we have plenty of red and navy accessories to match in with this seasons bedroom look.

I love this style myself, so much so, it's inspired me to re-decorate my boys rooms. I have a 7 year old and a 9 year old, who are way too cool (so they say) for themed bedding now. So, I painted a feature wall of charcoal grey in my older boy's and navy in my youngest. I bought some really cool Bansky and  Mod style canvases for the walls and mixed and matched with plenty of Babyface products (of course!) For their beds I chose our navy and red ginghams with McKenzie quilts.

They absolutely loved their rooms and felt very cool and grown up. I finished them off with our Target and Union Jack rugs and of course our letter bunting to personlise them. I have to say I probably enjoyed it more than them! But that's kids for you.....

Manufacturing in the U.K

Why buy British?

Everywhere you shop at the moment, it's Union Jack and all things British, between Jubilee celebrations and the Olympics. Tourists are going mad for that' British look'.

So why buy British? For some people, the answer to the question is obvious. It’s a matter of patriotism, sticking up for your own, and taking pride in this country.

Manufacturing in the U.K on the other hand is not as easy! At Babyface we would love nothing more than seeing our products made in the U.K. However we would have no business, as we would not be able to afford to buy the products in the first place. This is a shame but it is something we are looking in to. The question for most people is, 'Where can I buy British products?'.
We have managed to manufacture our Clocks in the U.K, however!

Unfortunately we cant sell them on to our trade customers, but it is a start to our 'Buy British' crusade and at least we can offer them to our online customers.

So buy British! Buy Babyface Clocks!
